Why Walktober?![]() ASAP+ is in the business of providing Atlantic Station employees with access to sustainable commute options. So…why would we challenge people to keep track of their steps for a month? Interestingly, Georgia’s rate of obesity in adults is 27.3%, which is actually slightly lower than the national average. However, we think we can do better! By encouraging each other to walk more, we can increase our overall health and wellness. Not to mention, using our feet as a form of transportation will not only get us outside to breathe in the fresh autumn air, it will help to keep it clean. Even if you’re currently driving alone to work, please join us by logging your steps throughout Walktober. Hey…if the environment, traffic congestion, and health statistics don’t inspire you, maybe the fabulous prizes will!
