Scooters

Scooters are an easy, convenient, and flexible way to access Atlantic Station.

 

  • Which scooters can I ride? Bird, Helbiz, and Spin scooters are allowed onsite and are conveniently located for rent in designated parking zones
  • Where should I park? Scooters should only be parked in the five designated scooter parking zones shown on the map below. Remember, scooters are not allowed on sidewalks, in the parking deck, or on the internal streets of the district at Atlantic Station.
  • Where can I ride a scooter? (Almost) anywhere around Atlanta! Hop on a scooter and zip over to Midtown, the Arts Center MARTA station, the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail, or your favorite destination. Live close by? Try riding a scooter for your commute. You’ll be surprised at how easily you can get places.

Your Train: Red or Gold Line

Your Stop: Arts Center Station

Your Next Steps: Exit your train and follow the signs for “Arts Center Way.”  To get out of the station, tap your MARTA Breeze card at the turnstiles.

Your Exit: Follow the sign that says “Atlantic Station Free Shuttle” to find the shuttle. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes 7 days a week between 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. The Atlantic Station retail district is less than a mile from Arts Center station and is a 10-minute ride on the shuttle/bus or a 20-minute walk. Please note that all Atlantic Station Free Shuttle passengers are required to wear a mask while on the shuttle.

Two bus routes service the Atlantic Station retail district and Atlantic Station. Use these links to find the right bus route and park-and-ride option for you.

  • Xpress 483 commuter bus operates between Kennesaw/Woodstock park-and-rides and Midtown, with a stop at Atlantic Station.
  • CobbLinc 10 connects Marietta to Midtown, with a stop at Atlantic Station. Buses leave from the Arts Center MARTA station.

Plus, several other Xpress bus routes stop at Arts Center MARTA station. Get started with your new commute and find the Xpress route that’s best for you! At the MARTA station, pick up the Atlantic Station Free Shuttle, which can take you to a stop near your workplace’s front door. Please note that all Atlantic Station Free Shuttle passengers are required to wear a mask while on the shuttle.

July 23, 2020
Starting Monday, July 27, the Atlantic Station Free Shuttle is requiring passengers to wear a mask while riding the shuttle.

February 2, 2021
Federal mandate requires face masks to be worn on MARTA property at all times – including while inside stations, buses, trains, & streetcars. Customers who refuse to wear a mask are subject to a 12-hour suspension from the system.

October 27, 2020
MARTA is partnering with Uber for a one-year pilot program to provide customers greater flexibility and more options for their transportation needs when normal MARTA service is disrupted. Uber vouchers will be available during planned and unplanned service disruption. Visit MARTA’s website to learn more about the MARTAConnect program.

Note: MARTA Breeze Cards expire after three years. Before you load, be sure to check the expiration date by visiting www.breezecard.com, checking at a Breeze vending machine, or by calling MARTA at 404-848-5000. Expired cards are not accepted at MARTA fare readers. Any remaining value in expired cards can be transferred to a new card within 30 days of the expiration date, simply call MARTA’s customer service.

February 2, 2021
Effective February 2, 2021, Xpress will mandate masks for all Xpress commuters riding and waiting or disembarking transit at their Park and Ride lots and bus stops. Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding or removal, and may result in penalties.

February 2, 2021
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an Order on January 29, 2021 requiring the wearing of masks by travelers to prevent spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. Passengers are required to wear a mask when boarding, disembarking, and for the duration of travel on the CobbLinc transit system. Passengers are also required to wear a mask when entering or on the premises of the Marietta Transfer Center or the Cumberland Transfer Center.

September 16, 2020
Due to schedule impacts, the Marietta Transfer Center stop is being removed from all Route 100 trips. As an alternative, passengers can access the Rapid 10 route from the Marietta Transfer Center and connect to MARTA at the Arts Center Station. The revised schedule is effective starting Wednesday, September 16 and is available on Cobblinc’s website.

January 27, 2021
Effective January 27, 2021, masks will be required when boarding Gwinnett County Transit vehicles (local, express & paratransit). If a passenger does not have a mask upon boarding, one will be provided.

January 4, 2021
GCT is providing riders with a touchless and cashless payment option in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Click here for more information on the Token Transit App.

November 23, 2020
Effective November 23, 2020, fare collection on GCT local, commuter, and paratransit service will resume. This will end rear door boarding on local buses. In addition, GCT will no longer provide free transfers for paper tickets or cash. Free transfers will require the use of a Breeze Card.

Free Shuttle

Sit Back, Relax & Enjoy the Ride

Ride the Atlantic Station Free Shuttle to easily travel between the Atlantic Station retail district and the Arts Center MARTA station. It is a 10-minute ride from the station to the Atlantic Station retail district or a 20-minute, 0.9-mile walk. As of July 27, 2020, all shuttle passengers are required to wear masks while on the shuttle.
